MezzeMeter

MezzeMeter is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps people eat Mediterranean-style meals without guessing portions, calories, or protein. Instead of generic “Mediterranean diet” advice, it focuses on real plates: mezze spreads, grain bowls, fish + veg, olive-oil-heavy salads, dips, breads, and shared dishes. Users snap a photo or build a plate from common components (hummus, pita, feta, sardines, couscous, olive oil, etc.), then get an estimated macro breakdown, portion suggestions, and quick swaps that keep the meal culturally consistent (e.g., more lentils, less bread; add yogurt; adjust oil). It includes a “shared table” mode for splitting mezze across people and tracking roughly what you ate. It’s an AI + traditional app: AI for photo-to-portion estimation and smart suggestions; traditional for logging, goals, and reports.
