MicroBreaks
MicroBreaks is a mobile app (with an optional web dashboard) that helps parents actually take self-care breaks that are realistic: 2–10 minutes, not 30. It builds a daily “break plan” around the user’s real constraints (kids’ ages, nap windows, school runs, work schedule, sleep debt) and then nudges at the exact moments they’re most likely to comply. The app offers guided micro-activities: breathing, quick mobility, hydration, sunlight prompts, short journaling, and “reset” scripts for overwhelm. It also includes a friction-killer feature: one-tap “I can’t right now” that reschedules without guilt and learns patterns. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI personalizes timing, content, and tone, but the core value is a tight library of evidence-based micro-interventions and habit loops that don’t demand willpower.
