MicroMates
MicroMates helps lonely people build real, low-pressure platonic connection through tiny, repeatable social actions. Each day you get one “micro-invite” you can send to a nearby match (coffee walk, 20-minute co-work, quick museum lap). The app enforces short durations, clear start/end times, and simple boundaries so it doesn’t feel like dating or a huge commitment. Matching is based on availability windows, preferred vibe (quiet, chatty, activity-based), and “energy level,” not endless swiping. After each meetup, both users rate safety/comfort and whether they’d meet again; the system prioritizes reliable, respectful people and deprioritizes flakes. It’s intentionally not a chat app: limited messaging, templates, and scheduling-first flows. The goal is to turn isolation into a habit of lightweight, real-world contact without requiring a big friend group or perfect social skills.
