MicroStorm

MicroStorm is a mobile + web AI weather prediction app focused on hyperlocal, short-term decisions: “Will it rain on my block before I get home?” It blends public radar/satellite feeds with on-device barometer data (when available) and user-submitted “ground truth” reports (rain start/stop, hail size, wind gusts). The app produces a simple, confidence-scored timeline for the next 15/30/60/90 minutes, plus a map showing where precipitation is moving at neighborhood scale. It avoids pretending to beat national agencies on 7–10 day forecasts; it wins by being honest about uncertainty and optimizing for immediate actions (commute, delivery routes, outdoor work, events). Monetization is a freemium model: free basic nowcasts, paid alerts, and a small-business tier for teams (contractors, event staff) with shared locations and exportable reports.
