MigraReplay

MigraReplay is a web app (with optional CLI) that records and replays database migrations against production-like snapshots to catch failures early. It connects to your CI pipeline, pulls a sanitized copy of schema + representative data shape (row counts, indexes, constraints), then runs your migration chain in an isolated environment to surface lock times, long-running statements, missing indexes, and non-idempotent scripts. It generates a “blast radius” report: estimated downtime risk, tables touched, expected locks, and rollback feasibility. It’s not magic—if your data is wildly different from prod, results won’t match—but it dramatically reduces the common ‘works on staging, dies on prod’ scenario. The MVP focuses on Postgres first, because that’s where most modern teams feel migration pain and where lock behavior can be tricky. Pricing is per environment and pipeline runs.
