MikvehMate
MikvehMate is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps observant Jewish couples track taharat hamishpacha with discretion and halachic accuracy. Users select their minhag and rabbinic guidance profile (e.g., common rulings, custom notes from their rav), then log period start/end, bedikot, hefsek taharah, and automatically get clear nightly reminders and a calendar view of permitted/restricted dates. It includes a “questions to ask your rav” generator for edge cases (staining, travel, medical procedures) without pretending to replace rabbinic authority. The app is built for privacy first: local encryption, optional passcode/biometrics, and minimal cloud sync. Realistically, success depends on trust—so the product must be conservative, transparent about limitations, and designed with rabbinic advisors and women’s health educators from day one.
