MillCert

MillCert is a web + mobile app that helps contractors and QA/QC teams validate construction material documentation (mill test reports, certificates of compliance, SDS, delivery tickets) against purchase orders and project specs. Users scan a QR code or upload PDFs, then the system extracts key fields (heat number, grade, standard, batch/lot, manufacturer, dates) and flags mismatches, missing pages, expired docs, or suspicious edits. It creates a clean audit trail: who approved what, when, and why, with a shareable compliance packet for the GC, owner, or inspector. This is not glamorous—paperwork is messy and suppliers won’t cooperate—but it saves real money by preventing wrong material installs and rework. The MVP focuses on steel, concrete admixtures, and fireproofing where documentation failures are common and costly.
