MillCertIQ

MillCertIQ is a web app (with optional mobile scanning) that ingests metal mill test certificates (PDFs, scans, photos) and converts them into structured, searchable material data: heat number, grade, chemistry, mechanicals, dimensions, standards, and supplier details. It flags missing fields, out-of-spec values, and mismatches between PO requirements and the certificate, then exports clean records to CSV or pushes them to your QMS/ERP via API. The reality: shops waste hours chasing certs, retyping values, and failing audits because documents are scattered and inconsistent. This app focuses narrowly on cert capture and verification rather than trying to replace full QMS systems. It includes an audit-friendly trail: original document, extracted fields, confidence scores, and who approved changes. Expect some manual review—OCR isn’t magic—but it will still cut admin time significantly when tuned to your suppliers’ formats.
