MisconMap
MisconMap is a web + mobile AI-assisted teaching strategy app that helps teachers identify and address student misconceptions in real time without building complex assessments. Teachers pick a standard/topic, then choose from short “diagnostic prompts” (multiple choice, short answer, or quick poll) designed to reveal common wrong mental models. The app groups responses into misconception clusters, suggests 2–3 evidence-based reteaching moves (analogies, worked examples, mini-practice sets), and generates a 5–8 minute micro-lesson plan aligned to the detected issue. It also produces a follow-up check question to confirm the misconception is resolved. The goal isn’t to replace teacher judgment; it’s to reduce the time wasted guessing why students are stuck. It integrates with Google Classroom for roster import and assignment posting, but can run standalone for schools that won’t approve deep integrations.
