MissedDoseMD

MissedDoseMD is a mobile app (iOS/Android) that gives practical, source-cited guidance for what to do after a missed medication dose—without pretending to replace a clinician. Users enter the drug name, dose, schedule, and how late they are; the app then surfaces the most conservative, label-aligned next steps (e.g., take now, skip, resume schedule) plus red-flag symptoms and when to call a pharmacist/doctor. It also generates a short “call script” and can connect to a pharmacist hotline partner (where available). The app stores a personal medication list, supports multiple family members, and logs missed-dose events to share with clinicians. It’s brutally clear about uncertainty: if guidance is ambiguous or high-risk (anticoagulants, insulin, seizure meds), it defaults to “contact a professional now” and provides one-tap access to local urgent resources.
