MistakeMap

MistakeMap is a mobile + web AI-assisted test prep app that focuses on the only thing most kids actually need: fixing repeat mistakes. Students snap a photo of missed questions (or import from Google Classroom/online quizzes). The app classifies the error type (concept gap, misread, careless, timing, strategy), tags it to standards, and builds a “Mistake Deck” of micro-drills that target the exact failure pattern. Parents and tutors get a simple weekly report: top 3 recurring mistakes, time spent, and whether the same mistake reappeared. It avoids pretending to replace school; it’s a companion that makes practice efficient. The MVP should support common K-8 math and reading question formats first, because open-ended grading and full-subject coverage will explode scope. Pricing is realistic: low monthly subscription with a free tier that caps uploads.
