MiteGuard

MiteGuard is a mobile + web app for beekeepers and small-scale farmers to detect and manage parasitic mite risk (e.g., Varroa and other common mites) before colonies or livestock health spiral. Users log quick inspections, counts, and treatment actions, then see simple risk scores and reminders based on local seasonality and their own history. The app includes photo-assisted counting (optional) to reduce manual errors, plus a lightweight “what to do next” checklist that stays conservative and cites extension-style guidance. It’s not a magic diagnosis tool: it helps standardize records, reduce missed treatment windows, and make decisions more consistent. Teams can share apiary/farm sites, assign tasks, and export reports for co-ops or inspectors. Monetization is straightforward: freemium for a few sites, paid tiers for multi-site operations and co-ops.
