MiteMeter

MiteMeter is a mobile + web app for beekeepers to track varroa mite levels and treatment outcomes with minimal data entry. You log a mite check (alcohol wash/sugar roll/sticky board), the app auto-calculates infestation rate, flags thresholds by season/region, and generates a simple “treat / monitor / recheck” plan with reminders. It also stores treatments (product, dose, dates, weather notes) and charts whether mite loads are trending down—so you can stop guessing and stop losing colonies. This is not a magic hive-sensor app; it’s a practical decision-support tool built around the reality that most beekeepers won’t buy expensive hardware. The goal is fewer dead-outs through consistent monitoring, better timing, and clearer records you can share with mentors or inspectors.
