MitzvahMatch is a web + mobile app that helps Jewish donors and small community orgs route tzedakah to specific, verified needs with clear outcomes. Instead of browsing endless appeals, donors set preferences (local vs. Israel, causes, halachic priorities, recurring vs. one-time, anonymity) and get a short list of vetted requests from synagogues, schools, gemachs, and registered nonprofits. Each request includes documentation level, budget breakdown, and a simple impact update template. The platform takes a small processing + platform fee or offers a subscription for institutions. Realistically, the hardest part is trust: verification and fraud prevention must be strong, or the app dies. The MVP focuses on one metro area and a handful of partner institutions to ensure quality and repeat usage before expanding.
