MockPilot
MockPilot is a web-based interactive API mock server for developers and QA teams who need reliable endpoints before the real backend is ready. Create mocks from OpenAPI/Swagger, Postman collections, or by recording real traffic, then edit responses with a visual rules builder (status codes, latency, headers, pagination, errors). MockPilot runs locally via a lightweight agent or in the cloud, giving teams a shareable URL for front-end development, demos, and automated tests. It supports scenario switching (happy path vs. failure modes), data templating for dynamic fields, and request validation so clients don’t drift from the contract. A simple collaboration layer lets teams version mock definitions, review changes, and keep environments consistent across dev/staging. The goal: reduce blockers, speed up integration, and make API behavior predictable and testable even when services are incomplete or unstable.
