MockPulse

MockPulse is a web app + CLI that turns real API traffic into reusable mock scenarios and failure tests. Instead of hand-writing mocks, you capture sanitized request/response pairs from staging (or production with strict redaction), then generate a scenario library: happy paths, edge cases, timeouts, retries, malformed payloads, and rate-limit patterns. It replays these scenarios locally, in CI, or as a hosted mock server with deterministic behavior and seeded randomness. The product focuses on the unglamorous but costly gap between “we have an OpenAPI spec” and “our clients break in real life.” It includes contract checks (spec vs. observed traffic), drift alerts, and a simple UI to curate scenarios and share them across teams. It’s not magic: you still need good capture hygiene and governance, but it can cut days of manual mock maintenance into hours.
