ModLedger
ModLedger is a web app comment system focused on transparent, accountable moderation for publishers, communities, and SaaS docs. Instead of opaque deletions, every moderation action (hide, remove, lock, warn, ban) creates an auditable log entry with a reason code, policy link, and optional public-facing note. Users can see what happened to their comment, appeal in-product, and track outcomes—reducing repeat arguments and “shadow moderation” accusations. For site owners, ModLedger provides embeddable widgets, SSO, role-based mod permissions, and a policy editor that maps to reason codes for consistent enforcement. It includes lightweight AI assistance to suggest reason codes, detect likely policy violations, and draft neutral mod messages, but humans remain in control. The goal is fewer flame wars, less moderator burnout, and higher trust—without pretending AI can fully solve community behavior.
