MoistureMate

MoistureMate is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) for flooring installers and remodelers to document, verify, and report subfloor moisture and site conditions before installing LVP, hardwood, or tile. It pairs with common Bluetooth moisture meters (and also supports manual entry) to capture readings by room, timestamp them, and auto-generate a clean PDF “job conditions” report with photos, notes, and customer sign-off. The app includes a simple checklist for acclimation, underlayment, adhesive/batch logging, and ambient RH/temperature. It’s not glamorous, but it targets the #1 reason floors fail: moisture and poor documentation. The AI component is limited and practical: it flags risky patterns (e.g., inconsistent readings, missing areas, suspiciously uniform values) and suggests what to re-check, without pretending to be a building-science oracle. The goal is fewer callbacks, fewer disputes, and better professionalism.
