MoldProof is a mobile + web app (traditional + AI) that helps renters, homeowners, and property managers detect and document indoor dampness and mold risk early—before expensive remediation or chronic symptoms. Users log quick “room checks” (photos, humidity readings, odors, leaks, HVAC issues) and the app generates a risk score with plain-language next steps. AI analyzes photos for visible mold patterns, water staining, condensation, and ventilation red flags, then suggests what evidence to collect and when to escalate. The web dashboard organizes time-stamped reports, maintenance requests, and shareable PDFs for landlords, insurers, or health providers. This is not a magic mold detector; it’s a practical workflow tool that turns scattered observations into actionable documentation and faster fixes. It also nudges users toward low-cost prevention: humidity targets, ventilation habits, and leak triage.
