MoltMap is a mobile app (iOS/Android) for tarantula and scorpion keepers who want fewer losses and better outcomes. It replaces scattered notes and forum advice with structured husbandry logs: enclosure setup, temperature/humidity ranges, feeding, premolt signs, molt dates, post-molt recovery, and growth tracking. The AI component helps interpret your logs and photos to flag common risk patterns (e.g., chronic dehydration indicators, repeated refused meals, dangerous substrate moisture trends) and suggests conservative, evidence-based next steps with clear uncertainty labels. It also includes species-specific care checklists sourced from reputable keepers and published references, plus reminders for maintenance and feeding schedules. This is not a “identify any spider instantly” gimmick; it’s a practical tracker that reduces preventable mistakes and helps keepers communicate better with vets or experienced mentors when something goes wrong.
