MoneyMates

MoneyMates is a mobile + web app that helps couples set, track, and actually follow shared financial agreements without forcing full account merging. It starts with a short “money prenup” flow: how bills are split, spending limits, savings goals, debt payoff priority, and what counts as a joint vs personal expense. Then it connects to bank/credit accounts (optional) and monitors reality vs the agreement, flagging drift like uneven contributions, recurring subscriptions one partner didn’t know about, or goal slippage. The app focuses on clarity and accountability: monthly check-in prompts, a shared dashboard, and a simple “propose a change” workflow so rules evolve without resentment. It’s not therapy and it won’t magically fix incompatibility, but it can reduce the most common friction: ambiguity, silent assumptions, and inconsistent follow-through.
