MoneyTalkKit
MoneyTalkKit is a mobile + web app that helps parents have realistic, age-appropriate money conversations without turning it into a lecture. It provides short, situation-based conversation scripts (allowance, wants vs needs, ads/influencers, peer pressure, debt, giving, first job) and quick “what to say next” prompts when kids push back. Parents pick a child’s age, the moment (car ride, grocery store, online shopping), and the goal (teach, set boundary, repair a mistake). The app then generates a 3–5 minute talk plan, a follow-up question, and a tiny action (e.g., let the kid compare unit prices once). It also includes a private parent journal to track what worked, plus a weekly “one conversation” reminder. It’s not a budgeting app; it’s a behavior and communication tool.
