MoodLedger is a mobile + web AI app that builds a personal “taste profile” from what you actually finish, skip, rewatch, and rate across movies, series, music, podcasts, and books. Instead of asking you to pick genres, it learns your patterns (pace, darkness, humor style, narrative complexity, emotional arc) and maps them to a simple set of sliders you can tweak: “comfort vs challenge,” “light vs heavy,” “plot vs vibe,” and “solo vs social.” The app then generates a short nightly shortlist (3–7 picks) and explains each match in plain language (“fast pacing, low cringe, high payoff ending”). It also supports “group matching” for couples/friends by finding overlap and trade-offs. Realistically, the MVP should focus on 1–2 content types (e.g., movies + series) and only a few integrations; boiling the ocean will kill it.
