MoralLedger

MoralLedger is a mobile + web AI-assisted ethics decision tool for real-life dilemmas at work and home. Users describe a situation (e.g., layoffs, medical consent, data privacy), choose stakeholders, and the app generates a structured “ethical ledger”: harms/benefits, rights/duties, fairness impacts, and uncertainty. It then offers 2–4 defensible options with plain-language reasoning, citations to major ethical frameworks (utilitarian, deontological, virtue, care), and a short checklist for documenting the decision. Teams can collaborate, comment, and export an audit-ready memo for compliance or HR files. It’s not a philosophy class; it’s a repeatable decision workflow that reduces hand-wavy rationalizations. The app includes a “bias tripwire” section that flags common self-serving justifications and prompts for missing stakeholders or evidence.
