MPIReconcile

MPIReconcile is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that sits beside an existing Master Patient Index and focuses on one painful gap: fast, defensible duplicate detection and merge workflow. It ingests ADT/HL7, FHIR Patient resources, and flat files, then flags high-risk potential duplicates, overlays key demographics, and guides staff through a standardized merge/“do not merge” decision with full audit trails. An AI-assisted matching layer proposes likely matches and explains which fields drove the score, but the app is designed for human approval because liability is real. It also monitors downstream systems (EHR, billing, lab) for post-merge fallout signals and creates tasks when identifiers drift. This is not a new MPI replacement; it’s a pragmatic reconciliation and governance layer that reduces manual queue time and prevents costly patient safety and revenue cycle errors.
