MSDSBridge
MSDSBridge is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that ingests Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) and turns them into a standardized, searchable, decision-ready database for materials and process work. Users upload PDFs or point to vendor links; the app extracts key fields (hazards, exposure limits, incompatibilities, storage classes, PPE, transport codes) and flags missing or contradictory sections. It then generates practical lab/plant outputs: storage segregation maps, mixing incompatibility warnings, and a “process checklist” tailored to a specific operation (e.g., solvent wipe, resin mixing, acid etch). It also tracks SDS revision dates and notifies teams when vendors update documents. This is not a full EHS platform; it focuses narrowly on SDS normalization and operational guidance, because most teams are stuck with scattered PDFs and inconsistent vendor formatting. Expect some manual review—extraction won’t be perfect, especially for scanned documents.
