MuralPermit is a web + mobile app that helps cities, property owners, and artists move public-art projects from “idea” to “approved” without endless email threads. It centralizes wall listings (with owner consent), a step-by-step permit checklist by municipality, required documents, insurance/waiver templates, and a simple workflow for reviews and sign-offs. Artists can submit proposals with mockups, budgets, and timelines; owners can approve concept and maintenance terms; city reviewers can request changes and issue approvals. The app also tracks maintenance responsibilities and schedules touch-ups, reducing the common problem of murals degrading and becoming liabilities. This is a traditional app with light AI features: AI can pre-fill forms, flag missing documents, and generate a compliance checklist based on location and project type. Monetization: SaaS for municipalities and property managers, plus a small fee per approved project for private owners.
