MuralProof

MuralProof is a mobile app (with a lightweight web dashboard) that verifies street art and murals at the moment they’re discovered. Users scan a mural; the app captures GPS, timestamp, device sensor data, and a short video “proof” clip, then generates a shareable verification card and canonical listing. Artists can claim works, attach official handles, process notes, and permissions (or “do not post location” flags). Curators and city programs get a dashboard to track condition changes, removals, and restorations over time. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps match new scans to existing murals (image similarity), detect duplicates, and flag likely misinformation (reused photos, wrong locations). The goal isn’t another pretty map—it’s credibility, attribution, and a living record that survives social media churn.
