MuralPulse

MuralPulse is a mobile + web app that helps cities, tour operators, and street-art fans document murals with time-stamped photos, precise location, and change history. Users can create “living pages” for each wall: who painted it (if known), when it appeared, materials, permissions status, and a visual timeline showing weathering, buffing, or overpainting. The app focuses on verification and continuity rather than social posting: contributors submit updates, and trusted local curators (artists, nonprofits, galleries) approve edits. A lightweight AR overlay lets you compare “then vs now” on-site. For organizations, it offers exportable reports and an API to power walking maps, tourism pages, and cultural archives. This is realistic because it doesn’t try to ‘own’ street art; it simply reduces the chaos of keeping records current.
