MutualAidOps

MutualAidOps is a web + mobile app for emergency managers to rapidly stand up and manage spontaneous volunteers and donated goods during disasters. It provides a single intake funnel (QR codes, short links, SMS) for volunteer sign-ups and donation offers, then auto-routes them into vetted roles, shifts, and drop-off sites based on location, skills, and real-time needs. The system tracks inventory at ad-hoc points of distribution, issues pickup/drop-off tasks, and produces simple accountability reports for leadership and auditors. It also includes a lightweight partner portal for NGOs and faith-based groups to claim tasks and report completion. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps triage free-text donation offers, detect duplicates, and suggest staffing levels, but the core workflows remain deterministic and auditable. It’s realistic: it won’t “predict disasters,” it just reduces operational mess when they happen.
