MutualAidOps

MutualAidOps is a mobile + web app for community resilience groups to run real operations during disruptions (storms, heat waves, outages, evacuations). It turns chaotic group chats into structured, trackable workflows: requests (food, meds, transport), offers (skills, supplies), and assignments with status, location, and time windows. Organizers can pre-build neighborhood “playbooks” (check on seniors, water distribution points, welfare checks) and activate them in one tap. The app supports low-connectivity modes: SMS-based check-ins, offline-first task lists, and lightweight maps that sync when signal returns. It also includes a simple credentialing layer (verified volunteers, background-check optional) and an incident log for after-action reviews. This is not a social network; it’s a practical coordination tool that reduces duplication, missed requests, and volunteer burnout.
