NapWindow

NapWindow is a mobile app (with optional web dashboard) that helps you take restorative naps without wrecking your nighttime sleep. You enter your usual wake time, bedtime target, caffeine cutoff, and whether you’re sleep-deprived or just tired. The app then gives a single recommended “nap window” (start time + duration) and a hard stop alarm designed to reduce sleep inertia. It also tracks what actually happened (nap start/stop, grogginess rating, bedtime delay) and learns your personal tolerance over time. The goal is not to gamify rest, but to prevent the common failure mode: napping too late or too long and paying for it at 2 a.m. It integrates with Apple Health/Google Fit for sleep and activity signals, but works fine with manual input. Monetization: subscription for personalization, history, and calendar/work integrations.
