NavLint
NavLint is a web app (with a lightweight browser extension) that audits your product’s navigation flows and information architecture using real interaction data. It ingests clickstream events (from Segment/GA4), runs task-based path analysis, and flags “navigation debt”: dead-end pages, confusing labels, menu bloat, loops, excessive backtracking, and high-exit nodes. It then generates concrete, prioritized recommendations (rename labels, reorder items, add shortcuts, merge sections) with estimated impact on task success and time-to-complete. The app also provides a “Navigation Score” dashboard by persona/device, plus before/after comparisons after changes ship. This is an AI + traditional analytics product: AI summarizes findings and suggests fixes, but the core value is rigorous metrics and reproducible audits. It’s realistic because teams already collect the data; they just don’t translate it into actionable navigation decisions.
