NearMissNow is a mobile + web app for capturing near-misses and safety observations in under 60 seconds, without the cultural baggage of “snitching.” Workers submit a quick card (voice-to-text, photo, location, hazard type) and choose anonymity or named credit. Supervisors get a triage inbox with simple severity scoring, due dates, and a lightweight “close-the-loop” workflow that forces a visible response: fix, defer with reason, or escalate. The app automatically generates weekly team digests that highlight actions taken, not just counts, because trust is built by follow-through. An AI layer clusters similar reports, flags repeat hazards by area/shift, and drafts plain-language safety updates managers can post to crews. It’s not a full EHS suite; it’s a focused tool to improve safety culture by making reporting easy and responses transparent.
