NearMissNow

NearMissNow is a mobile-first near-miss reporting app for frontline teams in high-risk environments (construction, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare). Workers submit a near-miss in under a minute using voice-to-text, photo/video, and a few guided prompts. The app auto-tags location, shift, and job type, then routes the report to the right supervisor and safety lead with SLA reminders. A lightweight web dashboard shows trends, repeat hazards, and “hot spots” by site and time, with exportable reports for audits. It also supports anonymous reporting to reduce fear of retaliation—while still capturing enough context to act. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used to summarize reports, classify hazard types, and suggest corrective actions, but humans approve actions. The goal is brutally practical: increase reporting volume and speed up fixes without adding admin burden.
