NeighborLedger

NeighborLedger is a web + mobile app that helps communities track small public and nonprofit projects from “announced” to “done,” with receipts. Residents, neighborhood associations, and local orgs can create a project card (park cleanup, sidewalk repair request, mutual-aid fund, community garden), attach a budget, assign owners, and log updates with photos, invoices, and timestamps. A simple public timeline shows what was promised, what changed, and what actually happened. The app also supports lightweight voting on priorities, but it’s designed to reduce endless debate by forcing clear scope, milestones, and proof-of-completion. For admins, it generates a clean audit trail and shareable reports for donors, city liaisons, or board members. It’s not a magic “civic engagement” app; it’s a transparency and execution tracker that makes follow-through visible and frictionless.
