NeighborNudge

NeighborNudge is a mobile + web app that helps people build practical community ties through small, verifiable acts of help. Users post “nudges” (borrow a ladder, check on an elderly neighbor, school pickup swap, quick pet sit) with tight time windows and clear boundaries. Trust is built through lightweight identity verification, neighborhood-based matching, and a reputation system that rewards consistency over popularity. The app focuses on repeat micro-interactions, not endless feeds: it prompts users to follow up, say thanks, and schedule recurring help circles (e.g., “Sunday dog-walk swaps”). For communities, it offers simple group spaces for buildings, blocks, faith groups, and parent cohorts with templates for common needs. It’s intentionally boring: fewer features, more completion. Monetization is via optional “Community Plus” for groups (admin tools, incident reporting, member verification) and small transaction fees for paid tasks where appropriate.
