NetSentry

NetSentry is a web app (with a lightweight desktop/agent component) for small-to-mid IT teams that need reliable network visibility without the cost and complexity of enterprise NPM suites. It continuously runs synthetic checks (DNS, HTTP(S), TCP, ICMP, traceroute) from distributed probes (cloud + on-prem agents) and correlates them with device telemetry via SNMP and syslog. The product focuses on fast root-cause hints: “ISP packet loss,” “bad DNS resolver,” “MTU mismatch,” or “WAN jitter spike,” plus a clear blast-radius view (which sites, apps, and offices are affected). It ships with opinionated alerting that reduces noise: deduplication, maintenance windows, and auto-escalation rules. Reporting is built for non-network execs: uptime by site, mean time to detect, and top recurring offenders. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional monitoring with AI-assisted correlation and incident summaries.
