NightBite is a mobile + web app that answers one question fast: “What food can I get right now that won’t waste my time?” It aggregates late-night restaurants, food trucks, and convenience kitchens, but only shows listings with high confidence they’re currently serving. The core is real-time “open verification” using lightweight signals: POS/online-ordering status, recent successful orders, user check-ins, and merchant pings. Users can filter by distance, pickup vs delivery, drive-thru, estimated wait, and “reliability score.” The app focuses on the messy hours (9pm–4am) when Google/Maps hours are wrong and delivery apps hide options behind fees. Monetization is straightforward: sponsored placement for late-night operators, plus a small B2B subscription for merchants to push live status, specials, and staffing-based wait times.
