NILLedger

NILLedger is a mobile + web app that helps college athletes (and their families) manage NIL money like a real small business. It connects to bank accounts and payment platforms to automatically categorize deposits, flag suspicious or missing documentation, and generate clean summaries for tax time. Athletes can attach contracts, invoices, and deliverable proof (post links, screenshots, event check-ins) to each deal, creating an audit-ready trail without needing a spreadsheet obsession. The app includes simple quarterly tax estimates, reminders for 1099/W-9 collection, and a “what you can spend” view that accounts for upcoming taxes. It also supports sharing read-only access with parents, agents, or accountants. This is not glamorous—but it solves the boring, expensive problems that hit athletes after the first few deals and become painful at tax season.
