NixtaNotes is a mobile + web app for home cooks and small food businesses who want Mexican recipes to come out the same every time. It converts “handfuls” and vague steps into scalable, repeatable prep: weights, yields, timing, and station-ready checklists. The app focuses on Mexican staples that are often inconsistent in practice—tortillas, salsas, adobos, beans, carnitas—by capturing variables like chile type/heat, hydration, resting time, and cook surface. It includes a lightweight AI assistant that helps rewrite a recipe into a structured format, but the user must confirm every change (no hallucinated ingredients). You can create batch cards, track cost per portion, and generate a shopping list by vendor category. This isn’t a social recipe feed; it’s a practical tool for consistency and margin control.
