NoiseCut
NoiseCut is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integrations) that sits between your monitoring tools and your on-call channels to reduce alert fatigue without hiding real incidents. It ingests alerts from common sources (Prometheus Alertmanager, Datadog, CloudWatch, etc.), learns which alerts are repeatedly acknowledged, ignored, or resolved without action, and then proposes suppression rules, grouping strategies, and routing changes. It also detects “alert storms” and automatically rate-limits duplicates while preserving a single high-signal incident thread. The product is intentionally pragmatic: it doesn’t try to replace your monitoring stack; it fixes the messy last mile where teams drown in pages. Expect pushback from purists—some teams prefer manual tuning—but most orgs simply don’t have time to continuously refine alert rules. The goal is fewer wake-ups, faster triage, and cleaner escalation paths with auditable changes.
