NoiseLedger

NoiseLedger is a mobile + web app that helps residents and property managers document, quantify, and resolve chronic urban noise (neighbors, bars, construction, HVAC). Users record short samples, and the app logs calibrated decibel estimates, time stamps, and location context, then builds a shareable “noise dossier” with patterns (e.g., 1–3am weekends) and likely sources. It also generates a polite, legally cautious notice template and a step-by-step resolution workflow: talk-first scripts, mediation options, and escalation paths tailored by city. For buildings, managers can invite multiple tenants to contribute, creating a single evidence stream instead of conflicting complaints. This is not a magic “stop noise” button; it’s a documentation and coordination tool that makes disputes easier to settle and reduces back-and-forth with landlords, HOAs, and city hotlines.
