NoiseReceipt
NoiseReceipt is a mobile + web app that turns everyday sound measurements into evidence you can actually use. It guides users to capture calibrated noise readings (with supported external mics), logs time/location, and packages a tamper-evident “noise receipt” report for landlords, neighbors, venues, workplaces, or city complaints. The app focuses on repeatable measurement workflows: multiple samples over time, automatic detection of spikes, and context notes (e.g., “bass thump every 30 seconds”). It also includes a simple exposure dashboard that estimates hearing-risk dose over a day or week and suggests safer limits. This is not a magic “make it quiet” app—most people can’t solve noise problems because they can’t document them credibly. NoiseReceipt sells credibility, consistency, and exportable reporting rather than gimmicky decibel meters.
