NomineeLedger is a web app that centralizes the messy, scattered paper trail of judicial appointments into a single, auditable timeline per nominee. It pulls in public sources (committee calendars, hearing transcripts, questionnaires, financial disclosures, press releases, news coverage) and lets staff tag, annotate, and link claims to primary documents. The AI layer summarizes long PDFs, flags inconsistencies across versions (e.g., questionnaire vs. testimony), and generates a “what changed since last update” brief for busy decision-makers. It also tracks procedural status (referral, hearing, vote, holds, floor action) with alerts and a clean export pack for briefing books. This is not a magic truth machine: it’s a workflow tool that reduces manual searching and copy/paste errors, and makes it easier to defend decisions with citations.
