NoritoNotes
NoritoNotes is a mobile app (with a companion web app) that helps visitors and learners practice Shinto shrine etiquette and basic prayers with confidence. It provides step-by-step visit flows (temizu, offering, bow-clap-bow), region-specific variations, and short explanations that avoid overclaiming or “mystical” fluff. Users can save favorite shrines, build a personal checklist for upcoming visits, and access offline guides for low-signal areas. An optional AI mode lets users ask practical questions (“What do I do if the temizuya is closed?”) and get conservative, source-cited answers with clear uncertainty when customs vary. The app also includes a lightweight “culture translator” for common shrine signage and terms, plus a respectful reminders feature for seasonal observances. Monetization is realistic: a modest subscription for offline packs, advanced guides, and AI Q&A limits, plus one-time purchases for curated regional bundles.
