NormaGrid

NormaGrid is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for benchmarking energy consumption and efficiency across commercial buildings using real utility bills and basic building metadata. Users upload monthly bills (PDF/CSV) or connect via utility/ESG data partners, then the app normalizes usage by weather (degree days), operating hours, floor area, and occupancy to produce fair peer comparisons. It generates a simple “expected range” for similar buildings in the same climate zone and flags outliers by end-use category when interval data is available. The product is intentionally pragmatic: it won’t promise perfect disaggregation or guaranteed savings. Instead, it focuses on credible baselines, audit-ready documentation, and clear next steps (e.g., verify schedules, check HVAC setpoints, investigate demand spikes). Reports export to PDF for landlords, tenants, and lenders, and can be rerun monthly to track progress.
