NoShowGuard

NoShowGuard is a mobile + web app that reduces costly paratransit no-shows and late cancellations by adding lightweight rider verification and smarter reminders. Riders get SMS/app reminders with a one-tap “I’m ready” confirmation window, plus an optional caregiver proxy check-in. Drivers get a simple manifest view with geofenced arrival detection and a timestamped “arrived/boarded/no-show” flow that creates defensible audit logs. Dispatch gets a dashboard showing risk-scored trips (based on history, weather, prior cancellations, and time-of-day) so they can proactively call or reassign. This is not a magic routing optimizer; it’s an operations tool that targets a measurable KPI: no-show rate. Integrates with common paratransit scheduling systems via GTFS-Flex where possible, or via CSV/API adapters when vendors are closed. The goal is to pay for itself quickly through fewer wasted trips and better on-time performance reporting.
