NoShowShield

NoShowShield is a web app with a lightweight mobile companion for restaurants that reduces reservation no-shows and empty tables. It plugs into existing reservation flows (or provides a simple booking page) and adds flexible deposit/credit-card holds, automated confirmation and re-confirmation, and a one-tap “release table” workflow that blasts openings to a ranked waitlist. The AI component predicts no-show risk per reservation using signals like party size, lead time, past behavior, and weather/events, then recommends the least-annoying intervention (SMS reconfirm, small deposit, or overbook buffer). It also tracks outcomes so managers can see what actually works, not vanity metrics. This is not trying to replace OpenTable/Resy; it’s a revenue protection layer that can run alongside them. Pricing is per location, with clear ROI reporting tied to recovered covers.
