NoShowShield is a web + mobile app that reduces click-and-collect no-shows and late pickups by adding lightweight “commitment” flows and real-time pickup orchestration. It plugs into your existing order system and sends smart reminders, live ETA links, and one-tap rescheduling. For high-risk orders (based on history, basket size, time of day, and store congestion), it can require a small refundable hold, ID check on arrival, or a shorter pickup window—configurable by store and category. Store staff get a simple queue view with predicted arrivals, auto-prioritized staging, and a “ready/not ready” toggle that updates customers instantly. The goal is not fancy AI; it’s fewer wasted picks, less shrink, and less staff time chasing customers. Expect pushback if you overdo friction—so the product focuses on testing and tuning rules per store until no-show rates drop without hurting conversion.
